Invitation to Submit Presentations We invite you to submit a presentation proposal for the STARWEST 2009 conference based on your experiences and insight into software test and evaluation issues. Proposals are due in April 2009, and may cover any aspect of software testing, analysis, and review including:

Expectations and BenefitsThe standard time slot for a presentation at STAREAST 2009 is 60 minutes, including 10 minutes allotted for questions. We encourage technical papers (5-15 pages) to provide conference attendees with additional details, supporting material, and references and offer a $500 award for the Best Paper submitted among the accepted presentations.
One complimentary conference registration is granted for each accepted presentation. Additionally, the presenter of the ''Best Presentation'' — as voted by the conference delegates — is asked to return as a Keynote Speaker at the next STAR conference.
Notes on Submitting a PresentationWhen submitting a presentation for consideration, it is important that you provide all requested information. The contact information you provide with your submission will be used for all future correspondence and should reflect a location where you can be reached throughout the conference planning period. Please notify us if your contact information changes. We will notify applicants of acceptance in January, 2009.
